This program celebrates the African-American families who made Walterboro what is is today. From civic leaders to business leaders, entrepreneurs and educators, these are the families whose names are a part of the very fabric of the town - Dorman, Maree, Waring, Tracey, Frampton and others. Learn about the impact generations of these families had on the town of Walterboro as well as their personal lives and public legacies. This program is in honor of the 2021 National Black History Month theme - The Black Family: Representation, Identity and Diversity.
