Handmade right here in the Lowcountry from Palmetto Palm fronds, these roses are crafted when the palm is green and pliable. It will change from green to light brown as it dries. Each rose is unique due to the size of the palm frond used and the maker's technique. The Palmetto Rose has many legends associated with them and is often viewed as an element of the local Gullah/Geechee culture.
